We hit the road this morning bathed in bright sunshine. This is a very welcome change from the rain and overcast days we have had for the last 4+ weeks. We traveled 250 miles today to Prince George, BC. The rain started again about mid-afternoon. The scenery was pretty but nothing really spectacular. We did pass through a town called Quesnel that had painted fire hydrants. A local artist painted the fire hydrants in the town to resemble local historical characters. We also stopped in a rest area for lunch that had a great view. I have attached pictures of the fire hydrants and the rest area.

After a quick dinner, we disconnected the car and took a drive around town. We passed the Home Depot and the Walmart during our tour.
