As I mentioned in an earlier post, Wednesday we made a run into Rapid to hit Green Star Camper, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree and the Staple and Spice health food store for some much needed items. The vent covers on top of the rig all needed replaced as did a heater floor register in the kitchen.
We also picked up several items from the health food store including Aloe Vera juice & Olive Leaf to assist with my GERD issues. They flared up again after a recent round of antibiotics for a small case of shingles (and months of eating poorly, lol). Fortunately, my shingle case was very minor compared to many and cleared fairly quickly. But my darn flap keeps fluttering and if you've ever experienced acid reflux you know it is no fun at all! Anyway, our new eating lifestyle, (no grains, corn, peanuts, potatoes or sugar) is REALLY helping. And as a side benefit, we're both losing weight. We sure like that!
Our drive took us past the neat Crazy Horse Memorial and we'd planned to attend a night blast that evening. But by the time we got back to town we were a bit worn out from all our errands and were just too lazy to go. There's another later blast this summer so we'll go then. We always enjoy the museum, the laser show on the mountain and of course the blasts. In the meantime, I'll post a link to last years visit, with pics, so you can see more about the Memorial if you like. Take care and have a great day!Crazy Horse Post
