Huka Falls.

Craters of the Moon Geothermal area, more mud.

Craters of the Moon.

Lake Taupo, the largest lake in NZ.

Next on the backpacker trail from Rotorua is Taupo, more Geothermal Areas, a very scenic lake when it's sunny, unfortunately for us it wasn't. Didn't get to do a 12000ft Freefall (phew) because of the continuous overcast conditions thus saving myself nearly $200. I learned a new meaning for the phrase "Voluntary Donation" at the Craters of the Moon where a very grumpy person wouldn't let anyone in until they made a "donation", 5 cents well spent!
