Been staying at the Garden Grove Elks Lodge RV spaces for the holidays to visit with family. Several of the GG RVers are like family too. There is a young woman with an Autistic son whose husband is in the Air Force and was transferred to Colorado. But the schools there cannot help her autistic son so she stays here where the schools are good for him. Then her widowed mother stays a good part of the year parked in her motorhome next to her. They are lovely people and Larry often washes their motorhome windshield because it is difficult for them. They brought over a large holiday plate of cookies and goodies as a thank you for his services. They were yummy.
We also have friends in the lodge and Larry is known by name by more people than our original lodge, it's a nice feeling. It will be sad to leave.
