After another breakfast at Penny's we checked out of our room and went to the swap meet. It was huge and took an hour and half just to walk through it all. Made a few purchases but nothing too weird. We then headed west. It was a beautiful drive west and the only bad choice was to stop at a outlook tower. The mangy dogs touring around the building should have being a hint but we got I back in the srx and left pretty quick. We had put the address of a museum Dale wanted to see and got there with no problems even though there was a lot of traffic. We then found parking and went to see the USS Midway. There is a museum right on board and we had to leave after 2 hours because that is as long of parking we could get. We put in another 3.50 for another 2 hours and then walked the seaport village which is along the ocean where there r other piers with tour boats and yachts and lots of shops. It was 6 ca time so I put in an address of a Day's Inn the wasn't that far from us and after getting there and checking out the room it was a keeper. 80/night and it felt good too take off the shoes.
