How much wood would a wood chuck chuck?

Beautiful grounds

Good day yesterday. We went to The Upper Room compound which is headquartered in Nashville. For those who don't know, The Upper Room is ministry of the United Methodist Church. The Upper Room Ministry celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2010. The Upper Room Daily Devotional Guide is a international, interdenominational & interracial bimonthly publication of the ministry. The guide is published in 39 languages and is distributed to people and churches all over the world. They have a chapel with the most fantastic wood carving of the last supper. Unfortunately we could not take pictures. Also a great museum. An excellent stop for all believers. After lunch we went to the Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson the 7th president. This was an excellent stop. Not sure I like his politics but the huge homestead, slave quarters, other outbuildings, fields and gardens have been restored. Very interesting visitors center with a movie and we each got headsets for the walking tour. We also had our mail forwarded here and picked it up. Don and Jeanne finally made it in just before 8 PM. We were treated to numerous warnings on our new weather radio starting at 4:45 AM but luckily they were just to the north of us. A bit sleepy. Today is country music day and we are looking forward to it. Enjoy the pics.
