Ok, so I'm going to jump back & forth in my next few posts. I still have a few areas of Yellowstone to share with you & I think you will find them quite interesting & beautiful. I've put a few of the 'Yellowstone critters' in one folder so I am going to start there today. Hope you enjoy them.

Then I have a few nice pics taken between Island Park, Idaho & Missoula, Montana to share. Did I mention that I've been trying to share some of the driving with Larry on these long out-of-the way roads? It's been awhile since I pulled the rig & I really am enjoying it. It breaks up his day and he gets to 'look around' which of course you can't do when you are the driver. He's supposed to be on camera duty while I'm driving & when he misses a good shot it drives me nuts!

We are now in Ellensburg, half the way between Spokane & Olympia, Washington. We're going to check out Seattle from a distance & then the Olympic Peninsula when we get closer tomorrow. A brand new area for us, so we're really looking forward to it. Sometime during the month of October we're visiting friends in Northern Oregon and then later in the month we'll be making our way down the coast to Southern Oregon to visit family. We are SO looking forward to that too! We haven't seen our two granddaughters Miss Lily & Miss Maya in quite some time.

The truck is running well. It's still putting out some black smoke but I've talked to three Ford dealerships along the way & they claim it is normal for this part of the country. Something to do with 'crummy' diesel fuel. We're running cetane to try & improve fuel mileage & the way the fuel burns so we'll see. We got 11.3 mpg pulling yesterday so guess that's about normal. Sure wish diesel prices would start to come down. We're paying about $4.19 per gallon in this part of the country. Ughhhhhh! Hope Oregon is better. At least we don't have to pump it there, lol!

Well, thanks for stopping by & keep checking back. I'll try & catch up to real time soon :)
