Well, we made our last trip to Hot Springs Wednesday evening. The Ramblin' Rangers were helping Books & Treasures celebrate their 12th year of being in business with music & refreshments. Of course we had to purchase a book for their celebration so we are now the proud owners of a beginner guitar lessons publication. We also purchased some local honey, yummy! Afterward we went to the Vault for a late dinner, although we all ordered sandwiches. We haven't been to the Vault since we celebrated my birthday there last year so we enjoyed visiting it again. And, the food is good!

Today Larry cleaned & broke down the boat, boo hoo, while I dusted & cleaned the living room carpet. It's amazing how much we track in even though we try to clean our shoes. Well, we sorta try, lol. It's tough with all the dead grass & pine needles around right now. It's really dry, unusually so I think. And the fire danger is very high right now. Wish we'd get some rain!

This afternoon we joined the Mike & Pat McFall & several of their friends for 'happy hour'. Well, happy hour & some great food. Miss Pat made a yummy taco soup & there were several salads, brats, meatballs etc to indulge in. We enjoyed meeting some new folks and are exchanging blog addresses. Looking forward to reading their blogs as it's always fun to see where other folks are hanging out, gives us some good ideas. We were happy to see Larry & Geri, former owners of the Broken Arrow campground here in Custer today as well. They are on the road RV'ing now & enjoying life.

Mike & Pat have a neat portable fireplace in their new living room. Looks so real! And Pat is making beautiful quilts too, her new 'hobby'. Mike says it seems like a lot of work to him. He just doesn't understand 'women's work' I guess, lol. Friday was our last line dance class. Such a bummer, we'll miss our classes. But Miss Pat was kind enough to share the music as well as printed out instructions so we can continue to practice. We've promised to have them down when we return next summer. Hopefully we'll pick up more classes over the winter somewhere. We want to learn to 'trail dance' too. A big thanks for all those classes Pat, we really appreciated them & you are a great instructor!!!

Tomorrow will be church in the morning & more packing & breaking down in the afternoon. Only two more days until we move on. I'll miss the 'Hills' but I have to admit I've got a bit of hitch itch. So, I think our next stop will be at the Gallatin Canyon. Looking forward to that. And then Yellowstone for 4 days or so...
