As I mentioned a couple of posts back Larry & Dick fished Bismark Lake a few days ago. They caught a couple of small trout (no keepers) & enjoyed their time together. Dick's trying to get all the kinks out of loading & unloading his new bass boat & I think he's finally there. We plan on taking both boats out on Friday for some fishing as today is Lou's last day at work for the season. And, they'll be leaving on Monday. I'd like to catch a few to keep & bbq. I think the guys just don't want to clean them personally. LOL ...Can't believe it's already the first week of September. Wow, the summer just flew by!

Larry & I took a nice drive to the town of Mystic a couple of weeks back. If there is a town in Mystic, we never saw it. We passed a few homes, a couple of mines and enjoyed pretty scenery along the way. We also drove the pretty Nemo Drive, passing the Twin Peaks Ranch. And a very interesting private club with two Volkswagen's sticking out of the front of the building. A nice lunch at the Alpine Inn in Hill City made for a great day!

The following evening we enjoyed the steak dinner being served at the VFW. We like to support the women's auxiliary & our buddies Steve & Roger were playing music for 3 hours. Our friends Tony & Mary were there for the dinner with a couple of their grandson's & I caught a cute pic of one 'playing' a machine. Trust me, he really wasn't & they're not promoting 'gamblin' for kids'....LOL He loved pushing those buttons. They brought us some fresh broccoli from their garden, delicious! We sure appreciated that. We caught a lovely sky pic on our way home. Well, that's it for now. Thank's for stopping by....
