Square dancing, fun!

Today was the first of a two day county fair/Independence Day celebration here in Custer. Larry & I headed downtown to check out a few vendors & afterward enjoyed watching the kids play games & get their faces painted. We caught a few minutes of a magic show & listened to a friend play the harmonica. Then we checked out a few of the items on display at the museum. After a couple of hours we headed home to rest up a bit and have dinner before returning for the music this evening. We watched the square dancers, chatted with our friends & had an ice cream cone while waiting for their time on the showmobile.

Tomorrow is the parade at 10am & additional vendors will be showing their wares, so I'm sure we'll go back for a second tour. Larry's looking for a specific booth that sells a great lip balm made with beeswax & all kinds of other good stuff. He purchases one from them every year. There will be entertainment tomorrow evening again so I'm sure we'll be back for that. Fun times!
