August 13 - Travel to Quad Cities

We have an appointment on August 14 with the company (HWH) who installed our stabilizer/leveling hydraulic jacks on our RV. The system is functioning well but since we are going to be traveling bye, we will stop for a courtesy system check.

Depending on the time it takes to inspect the system, we may be able to travel west toward Nebraska after the checkup.

Congress has until mid-October to raise the statutory borrowing limit or the United States will risk defaulting on its debt obligations and the national parks will not be accessible. From mid-October, we have reservations in four parks - Sequoia/Kings Canyon, Joshua Tree, Death Valley and Great Basin National Parks.

Nuts and Bolts

I corrected the amount of DEF that was added after 1160 travel miles. I added 5/8 gallons, not 1.3. The bottle holds ½ gallon.

Photos show how we store our fresh water and sewer hoses.
