Going South in Spring 2016 travel blog

Headed out to Bald Rock National Park - largest granite monolith in southern hemisphere. We took the shortest but hardest path up the face of the rock - Brenton and Mum baled half way up while Keagan and Dad kept going. It was spectacular at the top with great views. The journey down was via the gentle but longer winding path through some spectacular rocks and arches.

Back to Tenterfield and on to Glen Innes for lunch - a lovely Celtic town with wonderful architecture. Beautiful drive up through the hills and valleys past Armidale to finally arrive at the Big 4 caravan park in Tamworth. The park was situated about 100m from the Woolworth complex and shopping centre. We had tea at Hungry Jacks before heading back to the caravan park to watch the Cowboys preliminary final.
