|Cool morning with a mix of clouds and fog.
I left Homer at 10:15AM. I saw a moose with a young one just south of Anchor Point. Then another two just south of Ninilchik, and one just outside Soldotna. No place to pull over to get a picture of any of them. There were two turnouts where I was able to get partial pictures of Mount Iliamna as it was somewhat obscured by the clouds.
The weather cleared the further north I went. I arrived at the Klondike RV Park in Soldotna at 11:55AM. 30amp E/W/S.
Another couple I have corresponded with also arrived in Soldotna so we were able to get together and they, along with another couple traveling with their RV with them, all went to lunch in Kenai. Four enjoyable individuals to enjoy lunch with discussing where we have been and where we are going.
After dinner I drove back out to Kenai to see if I could get a picture of Mount Redoubt. It was somewhat in the clouds but I got pictures. Also took a picture of dip netting near the Kenai River Bridge and a small church between Kenai and Soldotna.
