Our lunch spot minus the Ale
| We moved from one Carolina to another. We left Uncle Bob and Aunt Pat's home (thanks for the hospitality!) and headed into South Carolina on our way to Charleston. We didn't get too far because we stopped about 80 miles away in Conway to have a late lunch with Sara Lyles Sanders who is my cousins cousin but not mine. Confused yet? Sara Lyles mother is the sister of MY Aunt Becky who was married to my Uncle Dick who is my father's brother. Whew! I have known her for ever and when we got married we have been with Sara Lyles and her family a number of times. Anyway, we had lunch and got to talking. Had desert and coffee and it was almost 4 PM. The time spent chatting was worth the minimal miles we made today since we only drove another 20 miles or so and pulled into a state campground on the ocean. It was a fun reunion and will hold us until the next time. Charleston or bust Friday. Enjoy the pics. |
