|We continue to have overcast and drizzly skies almost forget what the sun looks like. But it didn't stop us from exploring. First we explored the Walgreen's for an hour and a half waiting for prescriptions for me. Each state has a different statute on how long a script is good for. We have prescriptions that have been given to us for a year since we are on the road. That wasn't good enough in Maryland and they had to get my doctor in Atlanta on a holiday when the office was closed. We went to lunch, had flu shots, got a picture developed and printed THEN we were on our way. The big event of the day was a guided walking tour of the Naval Academy. Just a beautiful setting on the water in Annapolis. Very interesting finding out about the growth of the Academy from the 1800's to today. The tour took a little more than an hour. My brother had given use free passes to the in water sailboat show and we were able to see some of the show and board two sailing yachts. I guess you would need to know how to sail if you got one. We picked my niece Belle up from sailing practice and met her Mother Laura for dinner. The five of us had a good time catching up for the first time in about 9 years. We then followed Glenn to Home Depot and picked up a ton of stove pellets which should last him at least the cold season to heat his home. Watched the Orioles even the series with the Yanks then off to the land of nod. DC today. Enjoy the pics.
