Hope you are all having a nice Valentine's Day. Ours has been pretty laid back. As a matter of fact, I just finished vacuuming! Not very romantic, lol.
However, I did receive a lovely Valentine from my honey this morning & wonderful gift to boot. A new Nikon Coolpix S9100 camera for those times when my Nikon D5000 is just to cumbersome to deal with. How cool is that! In addition to the 12.1 megapixel, 18x Wide-Angle optical zoom lens, it has a tone of neat features like blink detector & 5-way VR image stabilization system. And it's supposed to shoot both video & pics well in low light situations. That's what l'm looking for! And, it's compact enough to carry in my purse at all times. You know me, always looking for that cool shot!
Our Canon point & shoot will now be relegated to 'dangerous' situations, like on our boat. Anytime Larry's near the water it's a dangerous situation! He frequently puts electronics to the 'water test'.
A small storm front has moved in and the temperature dropped significantly last night with cold winds making it feel colder than it actually was. I think we even had a few raindrops. It's only supposed to last another day or two & then warm up again. Hard to complain when we see what many of you are experiencing across the country. This really is an ideal 'winter location' for rv'ers. We're grateful to be able to 'camp' with our family each & every year. And as I've mentioned in the past, sharing cooking 'duty' every other night with Bonnie is awesome. It happens to be her 'turn' tonight, wonder what we're having? LOL Haven't been in the house yet today.
And speaking of today, a quick shout out to our nephew Kenny. Happy Birthday buddy, hope you are having a great day up there in Reno! We love you!!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!! Hugs, Lee Ann & Larry
