Alaska...Again 2016 travel blog

Day 60 Glacier View RV Park. Nice drive today. Glaciers and waterfalls on the road out of Stewart (it's an in and out drive) pretty good roads for a change. I'm a little weary of getting tossed around the truck. Smithers is a pretty big town for only a pop of 5500. SUN and upper 70's. Now I'm complaining I'm too hot"..almost. Went to Visitor Center and a big Safeway, yay! Found out there's a local fair going on. Trying to talk John into going to a horse training. Found out more about the hikes and think we'll do the Crater Lake. It's about an hour each way.. This campground would be nice if the sites weren't so close together. We had a hard time positioning our door so it was vetween a big rock and our neighbors sewer dump. Charming. The view is great of a glacier. There are several long term trailers here and we're up close and personal to a family with at least 4 kids. There are several more running and screaming around the park. However, it's 8:30 and they're mostly inside. Course we can still hear some. Internet here is great so far. Fast. Such a treat. That's one of the frustrating things about traveling like this. They will advertise wifi, but either you cannot connect or it's so slow you fall asleep waiting. Last place they kept dropping my connection in the middle of what I was doing. Arrrgh.
