The Moon Flower ... Blooms one night per year then dies.

Back in my natural habitat!

This Sign from Neil's Milestone B-day Last February 5th

My final night in Perth, we decided to have a proper Braai in the spirit of Ubuntu...the South African Hostel where we met and shared a meal together. IN Australia, most of the BBQ's are actually heated griddles, so it lacks that truly grilled component. Neil and Mels house, actually had an outside hearth that we rigged up with a few grates and some wood coals and had some thick T-Bones over an open flame. Add to that my signature garlic mashed potatoes (not typical fare for a hot summer night, but what the heck) and we had a lovely parting meal together.

Neil, Mel, Sim and Dom, I can't thank you enough for the wonderful hospitality and friendship you've shown me. I hope to return the favor whe you come visit in the US!
