Camping buddies from PA Larry and Gloria

The four of us took to the Cape Cod Canal bike path yesterday for a 12 mile jaunt. While Don and Jeanne have spiffy geared bikes we have beach cruisers with no gears. It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies making the water equally as blue. It was calm wind wise and the trip was just gorgeous. We stopped at the Corp of Engineers visitor center for the background on the development of the canal that was completed after a number of trys by the CCC in the '30s. After a picnic lunch we headed for a canal cruise but the days sailing was a chartered affair and we were shut out. We all did a bit of grocery shopping and back to our campground for burgers and dogs on the grill. We invited our next door neighbors Larry and Gloria from PA to join us and had a great time chatting and finding out about everyone. It was another excellent day! Heading out soon to find the Man from Nantucket. Enjoy the pics.
