|Sorry but no internet until now. Our camera is broken and we had to learn how to add pictures from our phones.......Our first fall weather of the year. We left Weirs Beach under mostly sunny skies but when we drove into the mountains it became overcast and didn’t get warmer than the mid 50’s and that was at highway level. We stopped at the Auto Road to drive up Mt. Washington, New Hampshire’s highest peak (6288 ft). We found out we could not drive the road with our rig so we went to the visitor’s center, toured a museum and decided to take a guided tour up the mountain. Glad we did. The road was difficult and the weather was awful. Fog, drizzle and cold. It was 34 degrees up on top with a steady wind which made the air feel like 19 degrees, Burr!!! We really couldn’t see much because of the fog but it was neat being up there with many others who came via cog railway, drove the Auto Road or hiked. We had a nice lunch in the welcome center when we got down then headed in for the night in Errol, NH at Mollidgewock State Park right on a river and we have a wonderful spot. No hookups at all but again our camper is made to stand alone. On to Maine today. Enjoy the pics.
