Engagement honeymoon travel blog

Today was the last touring day of our journey.. sniff sniff.

We decided to call the lady from the croc farm that was good friends of Linda's (from the B&B in Hunter Valley). She gave us a great discount on getting into the farm and we were able to feed the crocs. Clint was a bit more excited about this than I was! We spent the whole morning here touring around on a boat and throughout the farm. It was quite interesting and what a scorcher o a day it was! I think the 'feels like' from the humidity up here made it 45 today.. We were just pouring sweat while standing. We decided to carry on a bit farther north to Port Douglas for lunch. We had a great meal on the waters edge and then headed back into cairns for the afternoon. We did a bit of last minute browsing around town, skipped supper (as we were still full from lunch) and took a walk down to the pier later that night. They light up the area quite nicely once darkness rolls around.

We headed back to the hostel to do one last final packing of all our stuff, getting ready to fly out the next morning back to the homeland.

We wished we would have had a few more days, as we didn't quite cover everything we hoped to. But I suppose that's always how it goes! You just have to pick and choose what you can fit in, and we are very grateful for all we did get to experience! Great memories for us to cherish.
