|We left our campground and headed for the 10 AM service at the local UMC only to find it was the last Sunday of 9 AM service. We did get there in time for communion, a hymn and fellowship time. We enjoyed meeting the folks there. Then the big drive (9 miles) to Stowe VT. This is a ski town with an historic downtown area. We did find room to park the truck and camper on the street and began our tour. A number of shops were visited and then lunch at a Mexican place. Next we travelled to the famous ski slope for a gondola ride to the top of the highest peak in VT. We rode up nearly to the top of Mt. Mansfield 4393 feet. It was another gorgeous day with puffy clouds and temps in the mid 70's. The view was outstanding. Next we headed for Burlington on Lake Champlain with a fleeting hope of finding a campsite but there was no room in the inn. So we headed back to the town of Williston VT where we found there was a Walmart. By the time the sun went down there were 16 RVs and 2 trucks in the parking lot. We have stayed at some campgrounds which didn't have that many campers. This is our 6th Wally World camping experience and they all have been Okay. Back to roam Burlington today. Enjoy the pics.
