Cluster of Beardtongue

Today we went exploring in the Red Rock Canyon area. We ventured down Coyote Hollow Rd in search of the natural botanical garden. There was no designated trail, but just open hillside to explore to see what was in bloom. We were at an elevation of 8,000+ with big views out in front of us. We could even see snow on the mountain tops in the far distance. Plants are just starting to bloom at this high elevation, with many more getting ready to blossom.
