|Today we went to Lake Louise and Banff. I was able to see some of the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains, and engaged in some of the culture around them as well.
Lake Louise was teeming with majesty. The tops of the mountains, shrouded in clouds, interested me especially as we walked around the frozen lake. Despite the snow and ice, I was actually uncomfortably warm. This is probably the first time I've encountered this dichotomy.
Banff was an interesting town. It reminded me of Gatlinburg. While most of the group went to the top of the mountain, we checked out a bowling alley. The alley had some art from one of my favorite movies of all time, The Big Lebowski, so that's pretty cool.
