|While packing our car in the morning, Ted saw a mother moose and twin babies just off our deck. So why were we on a bus for 12 hours the day before? We had breakfast at this little diner we found, not used by many tourists, more food than we should eat. Drove north to Fairbanks. Had a snack in a park prior to going on the river cruise. We were on a paddle wheel riverboat for 3 hours, all sorts of sights along the way, homes, cabins, huts, float planes, and an hour to tour a native village. A quick walk in the park across from our hotel to see the lend/lease monument. Only a history buff would go looking for that monument, but it had to do with planes. After our primitive room in Healy, I'm going to enjoy the massive tub here at the Marriott!
