|It's 4:33 p.m. I'm waiting at the Quito airport for a flight to Lima. Not all that much of note happened today. Sylvia woke me up at 6:15 a.m. and I got up by 8:30 for breakfast. I ate lots and lots as I knew it would be a long time before I got another good meal. I walked to WEstern Union to see if I could get some money, but I need a bank to access my account. Since it is Saturday, most things are closed.
I spent the rest of the day showering, painting my toenails, packing, and emailing a bunch of people. I sat by myself at breakfast although Sylvia and I went downstairs together. I shared a cab with her to the airport, but I think we are both a bit annoyed with each other. Space can be good.
My legs and left arm are still swollen and red from the bug bites. I feel okay otherwise, so I'm expecting it will resolve on its own.
So today, is a transit / preparation day. Look out Lima, here we come.
