|Don and Jeanne picked us up at Aunt Leona's and we headed west. We stopped for lunch at the Newtown Battlefield over looking the valley near Wellsburg NY and then resumed our journey. We pulled into another favorite friends place you may remember. We are at Billy and Linda Graham's camp in Friendship NY. It was on our way and once again they have played the magificent hosts. More travels today as we continue to head to Lake Geneva Wisconsin for the BF'er Banquet which begins Sunday. OK we celebrated our 17th month anniversary on our journey and here are the stats for the 5 months of year two. We have driven 10,343 miles (39,635 total), camping costs $1949.73 which averages out to $12.74 per night ($13.38 w/tax).Camping clubs have saved us $651.23. We had 75 free nights camping out of 153 nights in the 5 months (49%) this thanks to family and friends, NOMAD projects, Walmart and coupons. We have spent $2950.87 on diesel fuel and are averaging $3.829 per gallon. Our miles per gallon has gone up to 13.42. In year two we have spent $1000.30 on fun stuff with a savings with coupons, AAA etc of $64 (6.4%). We have had 14 days where there was at least some rain (9.15% of the days) and 15 days where the temps were 90 or above with the highest being 102 (9.8% of the days). We continue to be having the greatest time, haven't tired of the camper or each other. Enjoy the pics.
