We are at Letchworth State Park in Mt. Morris NY after driving just 2 hours from Sayre PA on a beautiful day. We have been in this park numerous times since it is very close to both Geneseo where we went to college (SUNY Geneseo) and Batavia where we lived and our girls were born. This is the first time we have camped here however. The park is a beauty and is 17 miles long comprising over 14,000 acres. We did a lot of sight seeing and could not see it all in one day, so we are staying two. There are 3 waterfalls on the Genesee River and the gorge is 600 feet deep at parts. Today more stops in the park and a tour of the dam in Mt.Morris. I also was a radio announcer in this market for 13 years and I see some of the business that advertised back in the '70s and '80s are still thriving. Enjoy the pics.
