We left our overnight spot around 9 am heading south to Homer. The sun was trying to peek through the clouds as we approached the town.
Just before the town there is an spot that overlooks Homer. It gives a beautiful panoramic view of Cook Inlet and the town of Homer.
We drove on in to town and on out to Homer spit campground and rented a spot for one night with no water, sewer, or electric for $30. Bah.
We drove around Homer on the scenic roads and came upon this overlook.
I took this picture with Karen's camera. Her camera phone is so much better than mine I may have to get one. Anyway if you look over to the left of her hand at the end of the spit, that is where we are camped at for the night.
