Rambling Rodericks travel blog

After leaving the Cascade foothills at Westfir, we stayed at the junction of Hwy 58 and I-5 near a town called Goshen on the southern outskirts of Eugene. The rv park was called Deerwood. It was pretty and nice, though somewhat noisy from the traffic.

It was here that we took numerous bike rides along the Willamette River starting from different locations. One day we began our ride at Clearwater Park and rode 4 miles to the Doris Ranch Living History Park, then back. Eugene has miles and miles of paved bike/walk trails, so we spent time riding through the city along the river for several days.
