The Dragon flys

Since the last post we've taken our rental car and explored around town. Dick showed me local sites including a trip around the mountains and over the mountains.

Duncan has been a little under the weather so we took him to a local vet and had X-rays and blood work done. Turns out he is diabetic (like Dick) and I now give him shots of insulin twice a day. Harwood Veterinary was a great find and we're thankful they have taken such good care of Duncan.

We got a new dragon kite which Duncan had to approve before we could put it out to fly.

We just heard today that the parts are being ordered for our car and they expect it will be a couple of weeks to complete so we will just stay put for awhile.

We have enjoyed the weather and some relaxing at the campground. We would recommend the Ft. Bliss RV Park to travelers who have the option of staying at military parks.

We met some other full timers who travel in a Holiday Rambler. They gave us all kinds of great information and we look forward to meeting them again on the road. Bob and Marie travel with two cats and have been on the road since 2002.

Family back in the northeast all seem to be doing ok, just waiting for spring.
