Friday my friend Marci arrived with a pretty bouquet of flowers and a nice thank you card. Not necessary but greatly appreciated. Beautiful colors as you'll see in the picture. She's such a neat gal, we're so lucky to have met both her & her hubby Paul when we stumbled our way here to Custer Mtn Campground. We were out enjoying the beautiful weather later in the day when Onyx took off on a dead run. There were several wild turkeys of various age & sizes making their way through the campground and she was intent on catching up with them. But as usual, one call from her daddy & she put on the brakes and came back home. I managed to grab my camera for a couple of quick shots before they made their way back into the pines. Cute...

Later that evening we all headed down to the Frontier to hear the band Pleasant Valley Sunday. I don't know if I ever mentioned that I am a very weak dancer. Don't get me wrong, I like it and wish I was much better at it. We've admired the dancing of one particular couple all summer. Dave & Bonnie have obviously been dancing together for quite some time, they are so smooth & fun to watch. Well tonight Dave asked me to dance, I think with a bit of prompting from my hubby. I tried to beg off but he insisted & told me to just follow his body. It was fun, but I was so nervous & having a major hot flash to boot! He asked me why my hands were sweating so bad & I told him I was just one hot lady, lol! Anyway, he said I did 'good', wish they were going to be here longer so we could get a few lessons. But they are leaving shortly so guess I'll need to watch the DVD's I bought awhile ago. Right before Larry broke his foot.

Saturday we had a very laid back day. We discussed going to Deadwood for Kool Deadwood Nights. We usually attend every year but decided to pass this time around. Larry is just back into a shoe & his foot is a bit sore, it's difficult to park our big ole long truck & frankly we were just feeling lazy. So we watched a couple of movies we had on the DVR & a Sugarland Concert. A nice, lazy day for a change.

Yesterday we went to church in the morning, stopped at the store for a few things and messed around with our boat a bit. Our new fishing seat has arrived and we plan to get out on the lake this week. We grilled steaks at Dick & Lou's later in the day, yummy. Dick's sister Bev is still here visiting but she'll be heading back to California soon. We all went to Crazy Horse one night this past week so I'll post pics from there next time.

There's a bit of rain predicted in the coming week so we'll have to watch the weather to choose a good fishing day or two. Probably tomorrow if the skies are clear. We're launching on Stockade this time, Larry wants to use the fish finder to see what's down there. Love that lake, one of my favorites. It rained all day today, in fact all last night too. So here's hoping for sunshine tomorrow...
