Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Tim & Crystal joined us for lunch, so good to see them...

Isn't this cute, love the stone work...

Love these boxes, the lapis (blue one) with the kitty looks like...

These pieces are amazing!

Bears within a bear, what great work...

Three dimensional wood work here, wouldn't this be great in a cabin!

The bears as well...

And finally, this 3 foot tall bronze indian is really striking, neat...

Tuesday we got an unexpected call from friends Tim & Crystal. They were biking the Micklelson Trail this morning & were in our area so wanted to get together for lunch. We've been crossing paths since early this year so we were sure glad to finally meet up. We had an enjoyable meal at Cattleman's catching up on all of their news. They follow our blog so they know most everything about our lives like many of you. They own a home in Prescott, Arizona and are currently doing some renovating. They'll be heading home soon so we were very happy they fit us into their busy schedule. Their Sea Eagle Inflatable & RV Sunshade business's keep them VERY busy

After our meal Crystal & I checked out a few of the many beautiful items for sale in the gift shop. Oh my, if I had space they have a ton of things I'd like to own. While we window shopped Tim showed Larry the abilities as well as several apps of his Smartphone. Larry's due to get a new phone in a couple of months but I don't know if he's quite ready for a Smartphone, it just might be smarter than the two of us put together, lol! Amazing what all it can do. Just don't know if it's really necessary for us to have all that technology just yet. We have our Motosat Internet service temporarily on hold so we may inquire about Verizon before we reconnect which would require a new phone.

Wednesday morning we left early for an overnight trip to Ft Robinson, Nebraska. Our friends the Ramblin' Rangers were performing that evening and camping at Ft Robinson for a few days so we decided to join them and stay overnight at the lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our little mini-vacation and Brad & Bonnie were great tour guides. But I'll post more on that tomorrow. Time for bed right now, night....
