Well as many of you already know our son Jim lives in Anchorage, Alaska and has been a fishing guide on the Kenai River for many years. His son Ryan attends college in Oregon, but is now a guide during the summer months too. He worked with his Dad for many years so he's been taught by the best! We're talking two avid fisher/hunter's here folks. Several of our family and friends have made it up to Alaska over the years to fish with our 'boys' and they have all reported that it was one of the best times of their lives. That would include us too!

Ryan takes photos and is also sent photos by many of his 'customers'. Of course the scenery there is amazing so I'll share a few pics of that, but for many of you fishermen, the fish pics will be today's focus, lol! Wish I were there for a week or two right now myself. But the season is winding down and Ryan's actually looking forward to getting back to school soon. If you ever get up to Soldotna, please do yourself a favor and hook up with our kin. You'll be glad you did!

P.S. Here is a link to a Youtube video shot in June 2009, for the Alan Warren Outdoors TV Show. Ryan is working with Jim in this particular 4 minute video. Jim has actually filmed several TV shows with Trevor Gowdy since then. You might catch one on 'Monster Fish'. In this particular clip, Greg Flake lands a nice rainbow. Enjoy!
