What a great day again! This morning Shirley went to the non-denominal church service while Don, Jeanne and I went to see the presentation on the flood of 1937 (a 1000 year flood). I thought it was OK to miss a Sunday at Church since we did have services this week at camp. After our respective events we walked around the vendor booths waiting for a wonderful veterans march to a waiting throng of standing, appreciative, clapping folks. It was very moving. After lunch at our campers we went to Churchill Downs the home of the Kentucky Derby. They had a fantastic museum with various exhibits, a movie in 360 and a paddock and track tour. AND we got senior pricing. PLUS they gave us free box seats to the largest grandstand in the world to watch the races. Don came out the BIG winner at 80 cents. The rest of our loses were minimal but the fun was unmeasurable. It was hot and we ended the night with dinner out. What fun we have together. Enjoy the pics.
