Homeless Jobless Bum travel blog

We spent the better part of the day on the road again but finally made it to Inverness. It seems that every second house here has been turned into a B and B. We were after a hostel but pulled up to one B and B and after hearing the price and not having our bearings yet, we decide to stay for the two nights we had to spend there.

Inverness is the capital of the highlands and is of course the home of Loch Ness. The place is quite pretty and the people are really nice. We had a bit of a look around the house and it was set out really well. She had a great spot for breakfasts that overlooked her beautiful garden. There we were introduced to her dog, a labrador and her ginger cat. A very nice feel to the place. The town seemed like it wouldn't be too difficult to get around and our host made us a copy of the town map to help us out.

We are looking forward to tomorrow as we are going Nessie hunting.
