We have been enjoying our stay here in Dartmouth. It is about a half hour trip to Halifax. There are two bridges that connect Dartmouth to Halifax, however the closest bridge for us would be the Angus MacDonald bridge, but it doesn’t allow commercial vehicles. The McRae bridge is further away, but our only option.

We spent the day in Halifax yesterday. The wedding was at 1:30 at Saint Mary's Cathedral Basilica, a beautiful old church. We had lunch with Amanda on our walk to the church. After the ceremony we went back to the hotel where Peter and Amanda are staying, and watched the Blue Jay game before heading to Pier 21 for the reception. We really enjoyed the day, and I’ve included a few pictures.

This morning we are relaxing at our trailer. The weather has been nearly perfect for the last few days. Glenna made the CTV Halifax news, on a special they did on the final weekend of the summer. She’s a celebrity, in my mind!

Peter and Amanda are coming to stay with us tonight, before we both move on tomorrow.
