|We woke up to an overcast, misty kind of morning. We had a bit of backtracking to do before continuing on our way, as we weren't able to get to all of the stops before sunset last night. So we grabbed some comfort drinks before hitting the road (mocha/chai latte) and started out. We spent the morning touring around the last stops of the Great Ocean Road, then started making our way inland to Daylesford. We were a bit delayed arriving, as they were doing some control burning in the ditches along the road. There is a forest fire burning in the Grampians region, not too far away. Along the drive, the mist subsided and the sun started shining; temperatures ranged from 25-37 degrees! It was a scorcher for sure. We arrived in Daylesford around supper time, just when the rain started. But this region sure needs it.. Quite dry and brown around here. We found a great place to have a nice supper, booked some of tomorrow's events, and had a nice, relaxing evening!
