An old nautical term meaning the red buoys are on your right when returning from the ocean. Well John and I did not need that information but we saw many boaters on the lake yesterday who did not understand you travel in a port to port (left to left) when approaching another boat. This is the same way we drive on the road in the US. So either most of the boaters were from England or their seamanship is a tad off. Being a weekend there were considerably more boaters on another beautiful day. The trip was excellent and I enjoyed the ride and John's company. No beer though. Kidney Stones are really acting up. We are going to pack up around 7:30 AM and head into Decatur and the hospital. I actually thought I was passing the stone last night but alas nada. Shirley had a great day visiting friends from our old neighborhood in Marietta. She met up with Molly and Mary two ladies who lived on our street for the 12 years we lived on Arbor Spring Way. She stayed out for the day driving to old haunts and shopping before coming home after dinner. John brought the fixin's for a picnic and I grilled chicken for dinner. Then we settled in for a very nice campfire, packing it in around 11:30. Another fantastic day. I can only guess what today has in store for us. Enjoy the pics.
