Play Ball

John intent on the game

John and me

All doctor's appointments are complete and we've moved to Lake Lanier just north of Atlanta. This is another beautiful campground right on the lake and we have a super spot. Shirley set up the camper by her lonesome as my buddy John Van Camp picked me up from my appointment so we could play. She then went back to Decatur to visit with her old work mates at the VA Medical Center and stopped to see some other folks. Last night John and I went to the Braves game and what a game it was. Good guys win 7-0 and the pitcher for the Braves had a complete game and leads the National League in earned run average. I went to 3 Braves spring training games and paid $24 and $34. Last night's game tickets were $5 each and we sat just where we like in the lower upper deck just above the left handed batters box. During the game I felt the all too familiar pain of a kidney stone. I know I have a small one in my left kidney and it appears it wants to make its presence known. The pain was not acute and hopefully I can get past this without needing the hospital. I have left over pain medicine and am drinking plenty of liquids. We'll see how it goes. Enjoy the pics.
