We caught up with the storm near Gunnison

Our wandering took us on the remainder of the Ohio Pass. What a gorgeous 26 miles of country road and travel thru the mountains. There was a storm brewing in the distance and the lighting wasn't that good today. The battery on the Nikon also died as we started down into the countryside. Go figure! Luckily I always have my point and shot Canon with me. Len and I decided that this trip warranted a re-visit when the weather was better.

Our intent earlier in the day was to go shopping and get back to playing and the Ohio Pass Road comes out onto Hwy 135 close to Gunnison. It was starting to rain as we got closer to Gunnison. We got our grocery shopping done and followed the storm back to camp. We had a real good thunderstorm around 8pm. It is now midnight and it is pouring again. There is no better sound than rain beating on the roof of the rig. It is perfect weather to sleep by...nighty night.

You just never know where a day of wandering will take you. It was a good day!
