Whoa! . . . . almost stepped on this huge frog!

We came down Interstate 75 to visit with friends Bob & Linda Duncan who have recently moved here from the Atlanta area. We knew them from California, and they have moved around a lot (Fullerton, St Louis, Denver, San Clemente, Burlington, Atlanta) because of work transfers. I think Bob is ready to settle down finally.

Traveing along I-75 we passed Punta Gorda and Ft. Myers along Charlotte Harbor. More Kudzu in the trees, but more palm trees in this area. Starting to see a brilliant red flowering tree, will have to find out what it is.

After setting up in the RV Resort, we went to Duncan's lovely condo on a golf course. And we spent a while floating around in the pool which was very warm from the sun. It is always fun hanging with them, and we had some catching up to do. It is going to be a fun week here, as we wait for an ordered part to arrive and be installed in our truck.

Next day we went to lunch at Iguana Mia, good Mexican food, and drove around to see Naples with Bob & Linda, and did a little shopping. In the evening we visited the Bonita Springs Elks Lodge for a couple drinks and to listen to their entertainment for the evening. On the way out to our truck I almost stepped on a frog who lept out of the way just in the nick of time.
