After two months of sitting still, we have had slide problems sometimes, but all four walls came in just as they should. And we were off. After a stop for fuel we bid a fond adieu to Tucson and headed east.
We had just the sort of driving day we like - boring and uneventful. The area between the AZ and NM border had numerous signs warning of dust storms and to pull off the road when they occur. There were so many signs, they made me feel anxious even though we had absolutely no wind. We are boondocking at a casino just south of town, sharing some slanting pavement with other RV's and 18-wheelers. The weather is still mild, but there is some precipitation in the forecast and we still have some elevation to conquer before we leave NM and start coasting home. Hoping for more boredom tomorrow.
