The Bedwalds Never Ending Journey travel blog

Well after 3 most enjoyable days with family in Edmonton it was time to continue the trek. We ate lots, seen some new sites, visited Lorie's new house, bought some farewell goodies and had a couple of backyard fires with a weinie roast for good measure. Like the backyard fire thing its nice. First stop at a Flying J gas bar and gas is under .99/ltr, onto Hwy16 and pointed for Saskatoon. I think I saw the city as soon as we cleared Edmonton. Man this area is flat and covered in wetlands. Ducks and geese everywhere, saw the occasional bison/buffalo, a couple of elk and great long legged wabbits. Road was excellent, great time was made to our destination. Overnite here and continue southward tomorrow. Looking at 2 different routes, decision to be made in the morning. Predators looked dishevelled last night. Question for our Valley Vista friends, what happened to the face book page, cant talk to others from it now, let us know. Clam chowder is ready so must run.
