Rambling Rodericks travel blog

We moved from the Sandy River RV Park a few miles west toward Portland to the Fairview RV Park. This was a much larger park which had nice amenities - none of which we used. The "long term" - month long+ tenants, such as ourselves, were placed in the lowest of three tiers. This was very close to the railroad tracks. Only this time, unlike the sweet, distant sound and nice view of the train we had at Sandy RV, this train was extremely noisy, rumbled and shook the ground, and frequently blew it's loud horn at ALL times of the day and night. For some crazy reason, we ended up staying there a long time!

The positives about Fairview were that it was well maintained, safe, had plenty of roads for me to exercise walk, and was close to shopping and the church we attended.
