We toured St. John’s again today. The kids gave me a tour for Fathers Day, and we enjoyed it immensely today. The tour bus picked us up at the campground for our 1/2 day tour. Our first stop was at Cape Spear Lighthouse, the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland. We ran into a couple of friends from home, Joan and Sue. What a small world.
We toured with driver Larry, who gave us an excellent overview of the area. We toured several small fishing coves, the docks, and the downtown areas. Our tour ended at Signal Hill, with all the beautiful views out over the ocean, and down on the city of St. Johns. Thanks kids!
We saw an episode of Republic of Doyle being recorded in the downtown area.
