We enjoyed our last day of fishing with friends, Dennis & Linda today. It was another gorgeous day in Almont, CO. Len hadn't been catching much with our spin rods the last couple of days, so he decided to try fly fishing again. He was in the mind set of practicing casting again. He got a bite though, so he was encouraged to keep on trying. I got another nice stringer of fish today. I've got the fever!

Dennis & Linda treated us to a wonderful evening of a float down the Gunnison River that started in Almont on the Taylor River and passed thru the confluence where the East River mets the Taylor and turns into the Gunnison. The float trip took us thru a beautiful lush stretch of the Gunnison, under bridges and past lovely homes. At the end of the float we had a scrumptious dinner at Garlic Mike's in Gunnison that was part of the rafting trip. We thought we were going to get rained on, but it only sprinkled on us. What a wonderful way to spend our last day with our new dear friends. They taught us so much about catching, cleaning and packaging fish. They got us hooked for sure! Thanks Dennis and Linda for all the good times.

Len and I decided to leave the camera at home and just enjoy our evening rafting trip. We always regret not taking it, it was such a great trip that we might just do it again so that we can share the pictures with you all. We highly recommend this float trip thru Three River Resort.
