|We had a nice day today. After a bite of lunch we headed back to the Blue Water Casino to the movie theater for a matinee. I wanted to see the chick flick 'Just Go With It' starring Jennifer Aniston & Adam Sandler. It was a chick flick for sure but had numerous funny lines and Larry said he enjoyed it too.
Talked to our friends Tim & Crystal Ryerson this morning. Seems they are in Quartzite but leaving tomorrow so it didn't work out to see them this time. You might remember that we purchased our Sea Eagle Paddleski from them & we sure have enjoyed it. One of the best purchases we've made since being on the road. If you love to fish, kayak or float, it's the way to go! Tim always has a great deal going on & you can check out all his products here: Our Paddleski
I promise, he & Crystal will take care of you & treat you right. Be sure and mention Larry & Lee Ann sent you!
Tim recommended a stop at the floating restaurant/bar Fox's for a burger & a beer while we're in the area, so we decided to stop after the movie & check it out. The place was packed so we passed & headed home for snacks and a drink instead. We enjoyed those and then decided to go ahead and have an early dinner.
Afterward, we headed down to the Colorado River for a walk along the river's edge. We got there in time to catch the pretty pink lighting which soon changed to a glorious sunset. A lone speedboat raced by causing a large rippling effect which made Onyx a bit nervous as we were standing on a floating dock at the time. But she enjoys watching the coots & the ducks swimming about and the exercise is good for her. Well, it's good for all of us for that matter, lol!
Before we realized it we had walked all the way down to where we parked for the swap meet on Saturday. The weather was perfect, warm enough for just a t-shirt. I'm loving that! I took a couple of pics of our little home here in the desert as we made our way back. One from the back side of the 5'er & one from the front. The lighting was neat and you know me. I just love taking pics! Hope you all had an enjoyable day too, goodnight....
