Tue 8-26

Stopped for breakfast this morning at Bucking Horse Ranch. A local fellow approached me and hollered “Hey Cowboy” he said “how old'er you” I said “I’m 70”, he said, “that rig over there yours“. (Note - this fellow was in his mid 60’s, had a white muttonchops mustache, shaved head and wearing a Harley sweatshirt.) I said, “yep that‘s my rig“, he said, “would ya adopt me, your wife would have a real nice massage everyday, you’d have your feet rubbed every evening, I eat very little and I do a little gardening. Let me say again I eat very little”. I said, “ do ya drive” he said “I’m a dam good driver” I said “ let me think on it and I’ll get back to ya. He said “good enough an ya have a nice day”. I’m still thinking on it!!!!

Made over 300 miles today, pulled in for the night just south of Chetwynd BC. Chetwynd is famous for it’s chainsaw carvings. They hold the Canadian carving championships here every summer. Check my photos.
