Pam and Ernie met us after breakfast and we drove out to Eveline State Recreation Area and walked the Alpine Meadow path. There were some lovely flowers, although many were past their prime – I guess it is moving towards autumn. A few of the leaves of flowers were beginning to turn red. As we drove out to the ‘end of the road,’ the clouds opened a little and we got good views of the Fox River valley and then it began to rain. We shared lunch at the Cosmic Kitchen, after which Ernie and Pam left for their flight out of Anchorage tonight.

We shopped at Safeway and spent the afternoon working on our presentations, which are due tomorrow morning. Dinner was at Terry’s house, where we shared some amazing grilled salmon, fried potatoes, Fumi salad and rhubarb crisp. The entertainment was Farkle.
